Our company designs and produces designer wholesale furniture made in Italy, for e-commerce and large-scale retail chains throughout Europe and the world. This means that we have to deal with different, very competitive and constantly evolving markets every day.
The only way to emerge and succeed in such a context is to build credibility and continue to improve. This means developing new ideas, experimenting with new design styles and progressively optimising the efficiency of business procedures.
In fact, making ongoing improvements and exceeding our standards every time, from both a product and a process perspective, is one of the main objectives that drives Web Furniture.
Nevertheless, good intentions and the investment of resources and energy are not enough to ensure that these goals are achieved. To ensure that our efforts are consistent, we have decided to undertake a number of certification processes.
UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 – TÜV NORD CERT GmbH certification
ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system (QMS). It was developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and can be used by organisations of any size or industry.
Some entities, in our case TÜV NORD CERT GmbH, are responsible for certifying compliance with these requirements.
ISO 9001:2015 is structured in ten sections, each of which covers a specific aspect of the QMS. These topics include, for example, the context of the organisation, leadership, planning, resource management, monitoring, measurement and analysis.
The ultimate goal for us is to strengthen the efficiency and effectiveness of our business organisation. In fact, certification requires a focus on customer satisfaction, process management and continuous improvement, all of which are strategic areas for Web Furniture.
Chain of Custody Certificate – (License Code FSC-C152783 and Certificate No. ICILA-COC-004202)
The ICILA-COC-004202 Chain of Custody Certificate is a document issued by the CSI Spa certification body. It certifies that our company operates in accordance with the environmental sustainability standards set by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®).
The FSC® brand on our products assures the customer/consumer that the raw material used to make them is sourced from a supply chain that abides by the responsible management of forests, in compliance with strict environmental, social and economic requirements.
The FSC® Chain of Custody certification visible on certified products ensures that they have been manufactured to the strictest standards, with the aim of safeguarding the world’s forests and respecting local communities, workers’ rights and the habitats of plant and animal species.
So ask for FSC® certified products and contribute towards responsible forest management!
Furniture 100% Made in Italy Eco certification
Web Furniture has obtained the “100% Made in Italy Eco” certification, which attests to two fundamental principles. The first is that the ready-to-assemble furniture manufacturing process takes place entirely in Italy; the second is that our furniture is produced with a low environmental impact. The main requirements for certification are:
- the Italian origin of raw materials and semi-finished products,
- the use of high-quality natural materials,
- the adoption of typical, safe and healthy traditional techniques,
- respect for natural resources,
- the non-use of synthetic chemicals,
- optimal energy consumption
Quality Policy
The Quality Policy is an essential document in our organisational system thanks to which company management involves the entire company at every level, towards continuous improvement and compliance with the ISO9001 standard at every stage of the company’s activity.
In short, the priorities set out in the document concern:
- greater awareness of roles and responsibilities;
- the application of a risk based thinking approach;
- improving internal and external communication;
- monitoring performance, business processes and satisfaction of both customers and workers;
- defining improvement plans.
